Positive: We had an amazing stay at this lodge over Christmas and it exceeded our expectations. The lodge is set in beautiful countryside, it’s modern, very clean and cosy. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils and amenities – we managed to cook a full Christmas dinner with no issues at all. We also appreciated the little touches, including the Christmas treats/fresh produce left out for us. The hand washes and lotions smelled amazing as well. One of the highlights was sitting in the hot tub under the stars on a clear night – it felt very private and peaceful. The property is very close to Loch Ken, and we drove to the ruins of Kenmure Castle about ten minutes down the road which was worth a visit. Communication from the host was brilliant from start to finish. I’d recommend this lodge to anyone and would happily return myself.
