About the property
One of three cottages housed within a red-brick barn conversion on a farm estate, Swallow's Nest is an excellent choice for a countryside escape in Worcestershire. You will soon begin to relax as you settle into your rural location where you can walk across the fields to the private woodland or enjoy a picnic whilst watching the lambs at play in spring. If and when you feel like upping the pace, there are cycling trails nearby that weave their way across the county, whilst good days out by car include the riverside town of Bewdley, Warwick Castle, the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds.
The space
Swallow's Nest is the perfect base for a total wind down. Step inside this charming barn conversion and you'll find an open-plan living area with a high ceiling and original wooden beams that perfectly complement the traditional, country-style decor.
The living area comprises a well-equipped kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, as well as breakfast bar, a dining area with oak table and a lounge with two comfy leather sofas and a Smart TV. Underfloor heating throughout the ground floor is a lovely cosy touch, especially after a crisp winter walk.
One of the bedrooms and the bathroom is also located on the ground floor, whilst the master bedroom is located upstairs. Both bedrooms have a super king-size bed with zip-link mattresses that can be set up as two single beds if that suits your requirements better.
Outdoors there is a small area in the courtyard with a table and chairs for you to enjoy your morning coffee or pre-dinner drinks, or make use of the BBQ to cook up a delicious alfresco feast for lunch.
Guests access
There is a dedicated parking space for the cottage and you will be met on arrival by a member of staff who will give you your key and show you in. Alternatively, arrangements can be made for a self-check-in.
