The house was built more than 100 years ago and recently renovated for a vacation home. The house still has an old atmosphere of Kyoto and provides the latest furnishings. It is fully furnished and all necessary appliances will be provided.
The Kaze (風) House is a fully renovated 60 m2 house. There is the full kitchen(cookware, dinnerware, seasonings, a microwave, a toaster oven, a rice cooker, a hot water kettle and more), full bathroom with a separated toilet, washing machine/dryer, washing detergent, utilities, and home appliances. Of course, fresh bed/bath linen and toothbrush are provided. There are two bedrooms. 3 single bed and 1 extra single bed in the western style bedroom, and 1 double bed and 2 futon sets in the tatami room.
Located in 5 minutes walk from Higashiyama station in the Higashiyama area of Kyoto.
The Higashiyama area is considered the most Kyoto like place in Kyoto. If you are interested in temples, the most prestigious Zen temple in Japan called Nanzen-ji is near the house. Also, Heian shrine, Shoren-in, Chion-in and Yasaka shrine are within a 5-10 minute walk from the houses. You can also walk to Gion area to the downtown in Kyoto.
