On top of all of this, there is also an infrared sauna, whirlpool, sports room and a tanning bed! The apartment has all the luxury you need and I am sure you will enjoy it!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Amsterdam! This apartment is in a fantastic location, close to a lot of great places! The host was very friendly and truly wanted us to have the best time! That being said, the apartment itself was a little less than advertised. The listing states that this is a “luxury apartment.” This was probably a luxury place back in 1995 but could stand to be upgraded. The apartment smelled like cigarettes as soon as you walked in. While we know smoking is popular in Europe, we just didn’t expect all the towels and bed linens to smell like someone smoked in all of them. There was also a general lack of cleanliness throughout, a vacuum could go a long way. The towels and sheets could also use an upgrade. Also, the host scared the crap out of all us by telling us that there are people that scale the outside of the building and will break in if we leave the windows open, so sadly the evenings were quite warm since there was no AC. That being said, the apartment was spacious and suitable to our needs.
