My beautiful home in a quaint 1960s apartment building is located in a calm residential neighborhood with great transport connections to the city centre, and also close to nature.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it is a 2-5 minute walk to a bus stop taking you directly in the city centre in 20 minutes. Several buses any time. The house is located approx. 9 km from city centre.
Airport train station is 1 km (15 minutes) walking distance from the house.
Free parking is available on the street in front of the house.

There is a living area with a sofa and armchair for relaxing and enjoying your stay. Surf the web with free WiFi or grab a book and relax on the sofa!
The open concept kitchen is modern and fully equipped. I have a french press and a moka pot for coffee enthusiasts. Or are you a tea lover? Feel free to use any coffees or taste one of my favourite teas! :)
In the bedroom there is a comfy 140 cm double bed that sleeps two.
In the bathroom you'll find a shower and a washing machine, plus a drying rack for your clothes.
I'll leave you a selection of washing and personal care supplies to use.
On a sunny morning it's lovely to sit outside on the balcony and sip your coffee while slowly waking up. :)

There is a smaller 24/7 grocery store nearby just over a 5-minute walk away, and, if you choose not to go to the city centre, a bigger shopping centre Kaari also about a 7-minute walk.
There you'll find a 24/7 open hypermarket, ATM cash, private doctor, restaurants, a fitness centre and a variety of shops including a pharmacy and an Alko store.

As this is my home, some storage space is used by me, but I have reserved you space to store your clothes in. :) Please treat my home nicely, as you would your own!

When staying in my home you get to experience a calmer, authentic residential part of Helsinki.
As opposed to the inner city, this location (9 km from city centre) is a local neighbourhood where you can retreat to relax after a long day in the city.
My favorite part about the location is that despite not being in the centre of action, the connections to the city centre and airport are easy - and you get to enjoy the beautiful nature in this part of Helsinki that you wouldn't see if my home was in the inner city. Win-win! :)
There is a motorway nearby the house, which means two things:
1. You have easy access anywhere by bus or car, this is a major plus for the location!
2. There is some background hum to be expected. But don't worry - it's nothing compared to the city center traffic noise! :)

We can all do a little something to help preserve the environment and the astounding nature.
Here are some tips I want to share with you:
Finnish tap water is possibly the cleanest in the world! Instead of bottles, please use tap water to drink and cook with. It's fresh and 100% safe.
Do not put any foods, cooking oils, hygiene products etc. in the toilet, kitchen drain or the dishwasher.
Eg: Food waste like coffee grounds goes to bio trash.
Oils can be absorbed with paper and put to bio trash too.
There are trash/recycling bins in the inner yard, around the house.
Bins for plastics, papers, bio trash, metallics, glass and mixed trash (that can't be classified).
