Summary: We have stayed at this hotel once before 2 yrs ago, & we’re so impressed by it, we actually amended our road trip route in order to incorporate a stay here. However, this time we were left rather disappointed. The food here was excellent last time, so we planned on eating there this time, but less than 72 hrs before our stay, I received an email telling us that there was a large party/meeting for the evening of our stay, so the restaurant would be closed to the rest of the guests. No suggestions were given as to where we could go to eat instead, And at breakfast the following morning, the dining room had been left with most of the individual tables left pushed together, to form banquet style seating for the ore ious nights party. These tables were not made up for breakfast, & there were only 3 tables for 2, which were set up. So people were having to sit in the ends of the huge banquet tables. It all felt abit like as a paying guest, we were not given any sort of service at all.
