Positive: Staying at Friend’s Homestay was one of the most heartwarming parts of my Nepal trip. Nestled in a peaceful village near Chitwan National Park, it truly feels like home. Ama cooks delicious Nepali food every day — fresh, flavorful, and made with love. The family and neighbors don’t treat you like a guest but as one of their own. The kids even taught me Nepali words, and we’d go on morning and sunset walks or cycle through the village, passing farms and smiling locals greeting with “Namaste.” During my stay, I was blessed to experience the Tihar festival, lights, music, and laughter everywhere. It was beautiful to see how the community celebrates together. The family and community helped me adapt in Nepali local life and culture so easily. If you’re looking for a peaceful place to rest, reconnect with nature, and feel part of a local family, Friends Homestay is the perfect choice — whether you’re traveling solo, with friends, or with family. This is home for me. I can’t wait to be back soon. 🏡💛
