Summary: The two big pluses at Çelik Palas are the amazing thermal facilities (some of the best in Türkiye) and the friendly staff we encountered throughout our three-day stay. The main challenge for us is that the room was simply too hot/stuffy - even though it's still warm in mid October, the central air conditioning had been turned off. We opened the balcony door but the road noise is very loud, so it was difficult to reach a comfortable temperature to relax...which is a shame, because the hotel has many excellent features and deserves to be busy - but the room temperature has to be suitable to the unique tastes of every guest.
