The cottage adjoining the owners' house who will welcome you is made of stone and entirely renovated. You will be able to park on the property, right next to the entrance. The entrance consists of a small hall with a cupboard (washing machine + storage for cleaning equipment). A staircase leads from the entrance hall to the south-facing living area, consisting of a sitting area with sofa, TV (French channels), access to a toilet and hand-washer; then to the fully equipped kitchen/dining area: 4-burner hob (gas), Senseo coffee pod maker, toaster, kettle, fridge with freezer compartment, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and table with chairs. A bay window leads to the shaded terrace with table, chairs, and gas plancha to enjoy a good meal outside! A small gate gives you access to the Mediterranean garden and the natural swimming pool (8m x 4m, 1.3m to 1.5m deep, gently sloping).
A staircase leads to the sleeping area: the first bedroom has a double bed (160x200), with an adjoining bathroom (double washbasin, large walk-in shower, separate toilet); the second bedroom has 2 single beds that can be joined to form a double bed and also has a private bathroom with a walk-in shower and separate toilet. Both bedrooms have storage space and a small desk, are air-conditioned, south-facing with a view of the garden and the Château de St Martin de Toques. A baby's cot is available on request, as well as an additional single bed as an extra bed. The huge grounds with chickens and donkeys are accessible to you, welcome to the countryside! From the cottage you are only a few minutes away from the Abbeys of Fontfroide and Lagrasse, while remaining close to the village of Bizanet with its restaurants and shops.
