Welcome to Driftwood Den... your fabulous, convenient vacation getaway. Steps from the sound and right across the street is direct beach access with public bathrooms, showers and parking. Feast your eyes on the panoramic views from almost every window. Fishing and canoe rentals in your own back yard.
The kids can be entertained by the chalkboard wall while you easily unpack using the elevator. Please be patient with the elevator, it is residential so it is much slower than commercial types, wait for the unlock click before trying to open the door and also both doors have to be completely closed after entering and after exiting in order for it to work properly. Weight limit is 950 pounds. PLEASE do not let children play on the elevator or ride without supervision. Do NOT leave elevator doors open after using, please close promptly after each use so that the control system does not overheat leading to malfuntions and costly repairs.
The house features a reverse floor plan with 4 outdoor decks. 3 Decks are covered and one is not.

The second floor offers the Primary Suite with a king bed and full bathroom, 1 queen bedroom and one room with two twin beds, and a shared bathroom between those rooms. The third floor features an open floor plan fully equipped kitchen and living room area and additional bedroom with queen bed and full bathroom.
All four bedrooms and the living room include newer flat screen ROKU tvs with Spectrum cable.

It’s a quiet street where most of the neighbors live full time so they appreciate it staying that way & call me when that is not the case.
LINENS (bed sheets & bath towels) provided at no extra charge. Bring your own beach towels & beach equipment.
For a normal weekend stay, there are more than enough supplies at the home to not have to immediately buy soaps, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags & detergents, but as the stay lengthens you may need to buy additional items.
Central heat and air, ceiling fans.
****NO PETS ALLOWED*** (Owner has Right to cancel immediately if found on the property and apply $500 fee if pets are discovered on property)
***NO SMOKING***
No minimum night stay but cleaning fee stays the same because a professional cleaning crew still has to go in there and clean the same no matter how many days stayed.

On departure please load and start the dishwasher with dirty dishes. Also load and start the washing machine with used towels, please use bleach. Do NOT strip beds, cleaning personnel will do that, things go missing when guests do it. Remove all your garbage & food from the house and put in outside bins. The cleaning charge is exactly what it cost me to have the home professionally sanitized and to wash the linens...it's not me cleaning it, like other homeowners may choose to do. If for some reason you run into a situation where the home is not cleaned when you arrive, please call me immediately so I can try to make it right.
Trash/Recycle days are Wednesdays year round. In addition, during peak season May-October trash ONLY is picked up on Saturday too. Please put trash bins by the main road the night before so they can be picked up the next morning. Bring bins promptly back to the home after trash pick up because the city imposes fees. Please see the refrigerator for complete instructions about the trash and check out procedures.

**There are no beach chairs or equipment available so please bring your own.** I say this as a disclosure, but you may find some chairs & boards there in the driveway under the home which you are more than welcome to use, but it they tend to go missing, so I can't promise they will be there during your stay.
