The local area offers opportunities for trips along the fjord, hikes in forest and fields and boat trips to explore the beautiful surroundings. 7.5 km to Lysøysundet with grocer and restaurant. 1 km to Melvatnet and 3 km to Blåvatnet, with trout and char up to 3.5 kg, remember fishing license, fishing season 1 June -1.
