Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. A spectacular, fully renovated, 2-bedroom + 3rd bedroom loft, 3-bathroom townhome is located within The Galena Territory in Galena, Illinois. This home is a perfect family getaway that sleeps up to eight (8) people comfortably.
On the ground floor as you enter the townhome, there is a spacious master bedroom with a queen sized bed. The very large basement bedroom offers a smart TV as well as a private bathroom and a patio directly off of the bedroom. The loft offers a king sized, Tempur Pedic bed with controls to raise/lower the head and feet of the bed. The living room couch off of the kitchen and dining room offers a full sized pull out bed as well.
There is a fridge, stove, dishwasher, and microwave in the kitchen. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pans / pots to prepare meals. Any spices or condiments left in cupboards are free to use. There is a coffee maker in kitchen as well as coffee & filters. Just off of the kitchen is a private deck with seating and a gas grill for you to use.
There is a TV on the main floor, another TV is located in the lower Level family room area as well as in the lower level bedroom which are all connected to a Roku. There is a DVD player hooked up in the lower level family room for your use. The TVs are equipped with YouTubeTV so you’ll be able to tune in any sport events that may be happening.
You can get from our front door to any of the 3 championship level golf courses in just a matter of minutes. We back up to Lake Galena which offers boat rental, fishing, & kayaking!
The townhome a 3 minute drive to the Owner's Club which overlooks a wide valley in the heart of The Galena Territory and houses recreational facilities for year-round enjoyment.
The Pool/Recreation Complex includes a state-of-the-art fitness center with a spectacular view of the valley, spacious locker rooms with a “dry” side for fitness center visitors and a “wet” side for pool visitors, a café with indoor and outdoor patio seating, and of course, three great pools!
The outdoor activity pool has a double slide and in-pool seating area; the zero-entry kiddy pool has bubblers and a frog slide for the kids to enjoy, and the indoor pool is open for swimming year-round.
The Galena Territory Association hosts many events and activities in the Owners’ Club lounge and social halls.
To round out your recreation options, the Owners’ Club has an arts and crafts room, game room and video arcade.
Chestnut Mountain Resort offers year round activities. In the summer months, they offer ziplines, a river cruise, and the Alpine Slide which is 2,050 feet of tailored track on a sled to the banks of the Mississippi on the ride of your life. Their scenic lift whisks you back to the top of the mountain where a gorgeous panoramic view of three states is unveiled. The view is just as much of an attraction as the downhill adrenaline rush itself. In the winter months, the slopes are open for all of your skiing and snow boarding experiences!
