In nearby Haderslev (about 16km away) you can walk through the charming old town in the shadow of the impressive cathedral, or stroll through the Dammpark in the center. Youngsters and active adults can look forward to Streetdome Haderslev, the largest skatepark in Denmark.
In Aabenraa, a 40-minute drive away, another of the cozy towns in southern Jutland, there are many interesting stores along the long, hilly pedestrian street, and when you're not shopping, you can admire the many special front doors.
