Our classic 1920's house retains its original character, offering a unique, unremodeled glimpse into the past. Your Airbnb awaits upstairs, accessible via the outdoor stairway.
The Space:
Our home is a vintage 1920's house, it has not been remodeled or updated, you can expect a decent quality furniture and a very fast internet speed perfect for streaming services. Our guests love the centric location and the vintage touch makes them feel right at home.

Second story deck, stairwell, and entire second story is all exclusively for you.
The Neighborhood:
Enjoy the ambiance and a great cup at Smokey Row, Des Moines' favorite coffee shop.
Take a short walk east of the property for a Des Moines secret: the Southside Sculpture Park. There is also the better-known Des Moines sculpture park a quick drive downtown.

Other Things to Note:
The ceilings and doorways in the apartment are lower than standard construction; while this creates a cozy feel for many, especially tall people may feel less comfortable in this space. (My husband is 6'5 and has bumped his head a couple of times.)
