Step inside this retro themed 3 bedroom 1.5 bathroom cabin that backs up to hundreds of national forest acres. You'll find retro finishes throughout the cabin an nods to the "good ole days" like our arcade game, record wall, and rotary phone. The fully equipped kitchen offers modern appliances, cookware, and utensils, allowing you to prepare delicious meals at your convenience. The cozy living area is furnished with comfortable seating, perfect for relaxing and unwinding after a day of exploration. Outside, the property features a front and back patio, as well as a fully graveled fire ring where you can relax and soak in the beautiful surroundings and wildlife!
Nature enthusiasts will be delighted by the proximity to the water, where fishing, boating, and water activities await. For those seeking adventure, the nearby trails beckon for scenic hikes, thrilling ATV rides, or epic snow machining, depending on the season. In the Rancho McCrea subdivision, you'll find a community boat dock two blocks from the cabin. The neighborhood is surrounded by the lodgepole pines of the Caribou-Targhee National forest and lines the Snake River with easy access to the Island Park reservoir.
Street parking is NOT permitted. Up to 7 vehicles can comfortably fit in the driveway. In the summer, up to 30' trailers can fit at the property. In the winter, up to 16' trailers can fit at the property. Additional trailers and vehicle parking can be found a few miles away at the Stamp Meadows parking lot. Map pin provided after booking.

- Firewood is not supplied, but can be picked up at Elk Creek gas station on the way into the cabin.
If any issues are encountered during your stay, please reach out to us as soon as possible! Timely communication is KEY in getting issues resolved. The GHR team will work to troubleshoot with you first before calling out a handyperson. If the handyperson is unable to find an issue or it was user error, the guest will be subject to paying their fee. If there is an issue identified with the property, the owner will pay their fee.

8. No tents are allowed, per subdivision rules.
9. No large bonfires and only firewood is permitted to be burned in the fire pit during non fire ban seasons. No pallets, plywood, garbage, or other debris are to be burned in the fire pit. All fires must be fully extinguished with water after use.
10. Please do not place items near the baseboard and electric heaters to avoid fire, damage, and melting.
11. Please do not adjust the thermostat temperature below 65 to avoid water line freezing.
12. Please lock and close all windows upon leaving to avoid wildlife/bug/critter encounters.
13. All garbage must be stowed in the bear proof receptacle, located on the property. Extra charges may be imposed if not observed.
14. No firing of weapons of any kind allowed on property.
15. Outdoor security cameras are in use.
16. No street parking allowed. Please only park on the property.
17. Custom entry codes are provided for each new guest.
18. Fire Extinguishers and First Aid Kit can be located at the property and are mentioned in the guidebook.
19. Any items missing or broken must be reported to the property manager and failure to do so may result in additional charges.
20. Wildlife visitors frequent the area, including bears and moose. Please be cautious and store food/garbage in bear proof containers and do not approach wildlife.
21. Use of the community boat ramp requires the parking/boater pass be visible on the tongue of your trailer and must be returned to the cabin after use. Failure to do so will result in a charge.
22. Please be patient as we work to improve the property! Our properties might require light maintenance and service during your stay, depending on vendor schedules. In the event that work needs to be done on the property during your stay, we will let you know in advance that a maintenance team member may stop by the property. If no one answers the door, they will have access to the property to service it during normal business hours.
