This new detached chalet is situated in a new park still under construction, The De Huynen Estate. It is nestled among the forests of Schoonloo. Nature, tranquility and ambience characterize this park. The park is located on a recreational lake and is surrounded by beautiful green fields. The park has a complete infrastructure with paved roads and parking lots by the chalets. You can make use of all the park’s facilities. On the beach at the recreation lake you can sunbathe or take a dip in the water to cool off. If you would rather swim in a pool, that’s also possible as De Tien Heugten recreational park has a swimming pool with a 36-meter-long slide, and a separate paddling pool. During the high season the animation team offers entertainment and relaxation programs. Our train will take the children from the park to the recreation room. After the activity, our train operator will ensure that all children are safely returned. In addition, the restaurant organizes various events, such as bingo and card evenings, music and playback shows. For groceries, you do not have far to walk. There is a park store and fresh bread service in the park. Please note that pets are not allowed in this house. This new and comfortable furnished chalet can accommodate up to 6 persons. The total (residential) area of the chalet is approximately 70 sqm. The format is as follows: an entrance hall, separate toilet, living room, kitchen, three bedrooms and a bathroom. The living room has a sofa and chairs, a TV and a coffee table. The open kitchen is equipped with a 4-burner stove, fridge with freezer, microwave and coffee maker. Furthermore,opposite the kitchen there is a dining table with chairs. There are three bedrooms, the first one furnished with two single beds, the second with a bunk bed, and the main bedroom contains two beds and a built-in wardrobe. Washers and dryers are not free, but the centrifuge and ironing facilities are. This chalet has private parking. The park and its surrounding area offer plenty of opportunity for a pleasant holiday. For both young and old, there is a recreation room with a pool table. The canteen organizes a variety of activities like karaoke, music, bingo, cards and shuffleboard and children are sure to have fun on the playground. For those who love sports and recreation, in the immediate vicinity there are two unique recreational ponds with beautiful clear water and wonderful beaches. In the park there are also sports fields, playgrounds and even a mini-golf course. The park is surrounded by hundreds of acres of national forests and is located near the beautiful village of Schoonloo. In the surrounding area you’ll find numerous cycling, hiking and horseback riding trails. (Child) bikes can be rented in the park, and there is a riding academy within walking distance of the park. Hiking, biking and horse riding route information as well as tourist leaflets are available at the reception. The central location of the park means you can easily undertake a number of wonderful excursions. In Assen there is the Provincial Museum. The Memorial Center of Camp Westerbork in Westerbork and the National Dolmen Information Centre in Borger are also worth a visit. Looking for something for the children? Then Kabouterland in Exloo or the Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen are an absolute must. The city of Groningen, with its beautiful historical center, should also not be missed.
