Positive: The staff were wonderful and the grounds were stunning. Our room was also beautiful. We loved the on-site activities including the stables, butterfly sanctuary and canoes.

Negative: We thought we booked for two adults and two children at the time of booking but when I spotted on my confirmation that it was just for one adult and one child, the lodge required me to go through booking.com to modify it which required a phone call since the website couldn’t modify my reservation. Somewhat annoying for such a small change and then I was surprised to learn our room only included breakfast for two people rather than all four when we arrived to the lodge, even after going through the trouble of modifying our reservation in advance.

Summary: Fabulous and truly a memorable stay. Can’t wait to return when our kids are a bit older.
