Summary: Good points: Staff were professional and friendly. FREE Parking (you just have to register using the code provided) FREE Continental breakfast was an added bonus. Room was clean, which must be difficult as the rooms are quite old and in need of improvement. Bad Bits Woken up by power tools being used at 830am (Sunday) for the refurbishment work which is madness. Disappointing shower, although hot and leaking overflow dripping out constantly through the night. Rooms are dated and a bit run down but hopefully modernised after the refurbishment. Unlit back passageway for the rear rooms, additionally hazardous as there was an extension lead dangling across. If you need a cheap, clean room this place is acceptable but if prices are the same as alternatives I'd consider those. Staff are doing the best with what they've got but the owners should really consider if it's sensible having loud building work, especially during a weekend morning.
