The Space:
Located in a fantastic city fringe area this sophisticated and generous penthouse provides wonderful variety and convenience being surrounded by all sorts of activities and experiences. This is a great way to explore more of what Auckland has to offer! It’s a very central location with the city and other central hot spots like Karangahape road (K Rd) and Ponsonby only a 10-15 minute drive, you can find delectable and fun dining experiences, endless shopping options and great walks in the area and throughout all of these nearby locations. The convenience and appeal of being on the central fringe is having a tranquil escape from the city excitement and commotion, the penthouse is quiet and peaceful for when you are ready to put your feet up after exploring Auckland.
The apartment is incredibly spacious and well appointed, the casual but indulgent interiors and soft colours throughout the apartment provide a relaxing atmosphere that emanate a welcoming energy, perfect to come home to after a long day.
The living area has an open concept with impressive indoor/outdoor flow to the exceptionally large balcony and expansive Auckland view, providing a stunning, sun kissed space for you to connect with your guests over a beverage at any time of the day. There is pukka tea provided with a few flavours on offer, coffee sachets and pods, and hot chocolate for you to enjoy in the morning sun.
The apartment is bathed in sun all day, a wonderful place to make the most of the warm Auckland rays, in bed as you are waking up, lounging on the couch in the afternoon or outside on the balcony as the sun goes down radiating the sky with glowing orange hues.
The open living is a really generous and comforting space with the carefree lounge, elegant dining, and kitchen and bar made for creating and connecting. Enjoy this welcoming space with your guests; preparing food, relaxing in front of the TV, having nibbles over the bar or connecting over the dinner table.
There is a smart TV with streaming apps and live TV for you to enjoy on those rainy days or quiet nights (streaming app accounts are not provided), a sound bar helps provide a real cinematic experience.
The large full kitchen and butlers pantry have everything you could want or need to make your favourite meals. Its equipped with all modern kitchen essentials so you can have a wonderful cooking and dining experience. There is bountiful storage space for you to stock up with all of your favourite food and bev goodies
The butlers pantry has a washer dryer for your convenience during your stay, we do provide laundry detergent as well.
The bedrooms are both very spacious each with their own access to the balcony and walk in closet so you can unpack your bags and embrace your home away from home. The master bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and the secondary bedroom has the guest bathroom just next to it (its so close you could call it an ensuite!). Both bedrooms are accompanied by high quality linens, bedding and black out blinds to help you get a restful night’s sleep.

The Neighborhood:
Mount Eden is a wonderful neighbourhood with great family vibes and international influence. It’s a vibrant mix of culture and character with loads of fun eateries, cafes, restaurants and bars from around the world. The city fringe location offers huge variety with all of the surrounding areas offering an array of great shopping, dining, and spa experiences.
Getting Around:
If you want to explore mount Eden and its nearby suburbs walking is the way to go! The apartment is located on the corner of Mount Eden Road so if you get tired there are bus stops all along the road to get you where you need to go. You are also about 5 minute walking distance from the Mount Eden Train station which will give you quick access to many great destinations including to the Britomart transport hub which will then provide many more options.
Because it is so central and close to many great areas ubers are a great way to get to where you need to go privately and a little quicker, with the entertainment suburbs like Ponsonby, karanagahape road and Britomart all between 10-15 minutes drive this would be our advised form of transport
Other Things to Note:
Cots and highchairs are available to guests on request.
Please ensure all lights are turned off when you leave the apartment, and the windows are closed, and the door securely locked behind you. The owner accepts no responsibility for any loss or damage to any of the guests' property while the guest is onsite.
Also, please note that you will be responsible for yourselves and your guests and will take all necessary care and precautions to ensure their safety at all times and you agree that any damages will be your sole responsibility and the owners and Urban Butler are exempt from all actions, claims, suits, demands, costs and damages arising from any loss or damages suffered to or by any person or property caused by the use of the premises by you or your guests.
Please also note, that any lost keys will be charged for and if you lock yourselves out, the cost of a spare key to be delivered in office hours will be borne by you. Out of hours fees will also apply.
Bond:
A security bond is held for any incidental damage or charges. Please inform us of any issues.
Breakages:
Please inform us of any breakages during your stay. We won’t charge for minor cutlery/glassware etc.
Lost Keys:
Keys and swipes are expensive, please be careful with them. If lost, we will need to claim the cost from your security bond.
Left Luggage:
Unfortunately, we cannot store luggage at the apartment. The options in the city are limited but please ask us for recommendations
No parties or noise after 10pm:
Please respect your neighbours. Security call-out fees will be charged from your security bond. No more than 4 people to stay at the apartment.
Abide by Body Corporate:
See separate document in the apartment for your convenience.
Fire and Evacuation Procedures:
Please refer to the procedures on the back of the apartment door.
Interaction with Guests:
We are not onsite but are available via messaging 24/7 to help during your stay and calls in emergencies.
