Summary: Great location, very close to all tourist attractions. The place is unfortunately very run down. There was a hole in my floor covered by carpet, the bathrooms were very dirty, most of the washer & dryers were out of service and the showers on the roof had a terrible sewage smell. It’s a cute concept with all the plants and jungle theme but definitely needs some upgrades.

Summary: Considering the price point and location, our stay was excellent. Having read previous reviews I was scared of lack of cleanliness. However, it is not very dirty. We found no bed bugs in our beds and our room was well-kept and cleaned before we arrived.
Since it is a hostel (and not a resort), we had no housekeeping and had to share bathrooms but we knew this before booking our stay. The shower for women specifically is actually quite nice with provided shampoo and body wash.
Unfortunately there is only a male, female, and unisex shower and only one toilet, if the hostel is more crowded it would be inconvenient. That is our only complaint.
The location is in the center of Kokusai-dori Shopping Street, near Tsuboya Pottery street, a 9 minute walk to the Makishi station which connects to the monorail extending from Naha Airport. Would highly recommend. Maybe our experience is also informed by going during off-season.
