Positive: Princesa Garden Island Resort & Spa has a lot going for it, starting with its very convenient location near Puerto Princesa Airport, which is ideal for short stays or early flights. The resort feels exclusive and self-contained, with multiple restaurants, amenities, and beautiful private villas that offer privacy and a true resort experience.

Negative: The experience didn’t fully align with the premium price point. The villa rates are significantly overpriced for the level of service provided. Guest service also lacked attentiveness and compassion, particularly during our departure. We were promised breakfast due to an early flight, yet none was available, and staff showed little initiative in offering alternatives until I had to ask. Additionally, we paid for an “inclusive” airport drop, but the vehicle was shared with another guest, which was unexpected and not communicated in advance, another miss for what is marketed as a high-end, exclusive experience.

Summary: Not worth the money for the Villa
