Pico is an amazing island we have to confess we believe that's one of treasures of nature, and to be completely honest we believe that the place we have the house (Calheta de Nesquim) is one of the most beautiful places in the island.
We'd like to share you some additional information both about the house and our pricing structure, as this last one is not always easy to explain with the templates we have to use for the booking sites.
We have been doing holidays in Azores for 20 years, until one day we decide to by a ruin to rebuild. After traveling to all Azorean islands we choose Pico because it's pure nature and people are really nice.
The idea was to create a place that is simple but comfortable, where you feel like if you were at home. We did it for ourselves, and the house was initially created for our vacations and family (we used to live in Lisbon by that time), then when we saw we were using it for 2 weeks during all year we decided it might be a good idea to rent it.
It would allow us to recover the investment we made in the rebuilding and share what we believe is a fantastic place to stay with other people.
The house is equipped has if we live there, and has lots of pieces that make part of our live, it's very curious that several customers when we speak with them after their stay, comment that they felt like at home :)
