The location is simply ideal for keen anglers and water lovers. Here you can fish to your heart's content and swim in the water right in front of the house.
The area leaves nothing to be desired. Here you will find good hiking terrain as well as beautiful rivers and lakes with good fishing and swimming opportunities. For a nice day trip, we recommend a summit hike, for which Follaheia is a good destination. It is a somewhat challenging but family-friendly hike on the Snauberg above the fjord. The hike starts at the parking lot in Follafoss and takes about 2 hours.
Note: The canoe and rowing boat belong to the cabin and can be used freely by guests.
