Positive: What a great little spot. Situated right in the emerald cathedral, I really enjoyed my daily trips in the hotel's kayaks. I also spent a lot of time lounging on their hammocks and chairs at the waters edge (I was a bit worried about bugs, but it was essential bug-free). The area is easy to walk around, too. There are lots of fun day trips nearby (rented a scooter from them for one and they arranged a tuk tuk for another)- but we also just enjoyed some down time. The food in their restaurant was tasty. Appreciated the good wifi, cool A/C in our room, at hot shower. And the staff were lovely. Such an amazing value - we'll certainly be back.

Negative: We didn't have great luck with restaurant within walking distance of the hotel. Not terrible food, just kind of meh, and a bit overpriced. Probably should have popped into Kampot for dinners - a 10 minute scooter ride at most.
