The windows overlook the mountains, which are a charming, calming sight both in summer and winter.
Start hiking or skiing excursions right from the front door, depending on the season. The imposing Gudbrandsdal with its watery stream is impressive, as are the routes up the mountains. In winter, it's best to get a ski pass and take advantage of the traditional trails and slopes. A gym, restaurant and store are nearby, and a sauna can also be used by arrangement. Please note that these amenities are only available during the winter season. After a short drive through the beautiful scenery you can quickly reach Lillehammer, Ringebu or the adventure park Hunderfossen, which is popular with children.
