At a sufficient distance from the tourist masses, the valley is still very well developed and offers activities for all requirements: walking, hiking, alpine tours, swimming, biking, skiing, paragliding in mostly untouched or well-tended countryside.
The impressive house (built in 1750) is located in the old village center, but is practically free due to the extraordinary plot size. On the seat you can enjoy a lot of privacy and a clear view of the mountains. Even after the renovation, the charm of a chalet was retained thanks to natural and local building materials, without having to do without modern facilities.
The house has 12 rooms (3 bedrooms with 8 fixed beds of normal size, gallery, 2 large living rooms, spacious kitchen, dining area, bathroom, separate toilet, cloakroom, laundry room and summer toilet. It is large enough for two families or for a vacation with friends. Dogs are allowed on request.
Curaglia is always accessible by public transport. In the village (2 min. Walking distance) there is an excellent restaurant, a butcher with local delicacies, a well-stocked small supermarket, petrol station, post office and bank. Disentis is 5 minutes away by car and offers all shops and rail connections. Within max. 20 minutes by car you reach 2 ski areas (Disentis3000, Sedrun), many hiking areas and leisure opportunities. Two other ski areas are easily accessible by train (Andermatt, Gemsstock). In 1 hour by car you are in Mediterranean Ticino or in hip Laax / Flims.

You reach Curaglia by public transport (trains and bus) from Zurich (3h) or Basel (4h), however a car is recommendable to enjoy the vast opportunities the region offers. Within 2 min. walking you find a gourmet restaurant, a small but well stocked supermarket, a butchery, post office, bank an d a gas station. The alpine town of Disentis is at 5min by car where you find everything you need in addition and more. Within 20min by car you reach 2 skiing arenas (Disentis3000 and Sedrun), hiking areas and other activities. Within 1 hr by train you access the 2 skiing arenas of Andermatt. After 1 hour drive, you find yourself in Mediterranean Ticino or in the hip spot of Laax / Flims.
