Come stay at our historic lodge on the banks of the Meramec River. We have several suites, each featuring a unique theme. The Meramec Suite is a unique setting with a great deal of charm and comforts. Come play in the river, canoe, kayak or raft down the river through a local outfitter. We recommend Birds Nest Fun/ American Missouri Outfitters as they can start your float right from the lodge. You not up for a float? Simply relax in a hammock reading a book. This will leave you refreshed and ready to experience all nature has to offer! You can cook your meals in the outdoor kitchen or with a riverside bonfire. With an appointment you can get a tour of the historic lodge. There is a great deal to do in the area including cave tours, art galleries, antique shops, wineries, and hiking the Ozark Trail or exploring the Onondoga State Park. Mark Twain National Forest and Little Prairie Conservation Area also nearby of the hikers and fishermen. Other towns nearby are Steelville, and St. James. They both have wineries and outdoor attractions. Steelville has a bike park of the cyclist, numerous unique shopping sites and Peaceful Bend Winery. St. James has the St. James Winery and Meramec Vineyards Winery. Cuba, Mo has the Belmont Vineyards & Winery. Of course I have to mention Audrey’s Eatery & The Little Shop of Comics in Cuba Mo as it is own and run by my brother. Rolla Mo is just a short 30 minute drive and it has many activities through S&T University and community as well.
