Many of our visitors come to visit Strathcona Park, the oldest provincial park in BC. Having the choice to dine at the waterfront restaurant a few min walk down the beach, or al fresco on your own outdoor kitchen supplied with all the tools, makes for a unique vacation experience. Your large Safari Tent sits on a 900 sq’ wrap around fenced deck and is extensively furnished inside and out. In addition to the comfortable queen bed, 2 mattress & cots are available to put inside the tent at bedtime, or to use under a 10’x10’ canopy with detachable wall, or under the stars! From the deck you’ll catch the sun rising just after it hits the horizon, and enjoy watching it set over the trees in our field. The glamping site is in a safe place, with a private home nearby, but barely visible from your deck through some trees.
ALL WITHIN 10 min - A semblance of civilization isn't far! Tastings and tours at the distillery, or the essentials for groceries, liquor store, specialty coffees, pizza and medical clinic, are just beyond the nature trail, or a 2 min drive from your glamping site. Salmon Point boat launch is at the marina across the road.
