Kirnan Beg is a scandi-inspired, luxury lodge set in the grounds of a peaceful and beautifully wild 400-acre estate on the west coast of Scotland. It's a superb place to experience peace and solitude, especially as the lodge enjoys a secluded location on the estate. The ideal romantic escape, writer's retreat, or place to reconnect with yourself and nature. You'll benefit from easy access to beautiful walking trails, as well as a king-size bed, shower room, a private garden and countryside views. Whether you spend your days relaxing, enjoying on-site activities including fishing, or visiting lochs and castles, it's the perfect place to experience the best of Argyll and Bute.
The space
The wooden interior of this bespoke, luxury lodge offers a warm and cosy look, while modern fixtures and fittings feature throughout.
Designed for up to two adults, the lodge has one comfortable, king-size bedroom, plus a shower room with a WC and basin.
You'll have everything you need to feel cossetted and be self-sufficient including a fully equipped kitchen with an electric oven and hob, fridge, freezer and microwave, plus the flickering glow of a wood burning stove to warm chilly days.
There's also a living/dining area with a working fireplace, a sofa, a coffee table, a table and chairs for dining, and a Smart TV with Freesat. There's WiFi in the lodge too, so you can connect with the outside world if you need to.
Outside, there's a private garden area and deck with seating. Plus, there's a fantastic, enclosed BBQ cabin which is a great spot to hunker down, toast marshmallows or cook up a dinnertime feast at any time of the year.
This is a charming, characterful, and quirky place to stay, but just so you know, doorways are of restricted head height and there are several steps up to the lodge so it's advisable to bring backpacks instead of suitcases.
Guest access
If you arrive before 19:00 the owners will meet you on arrival. Otherwise, there is a key safe where you can access the key to the lodge for a self-check-in.

Deposit: Bookings are subject to a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the booking value plus applicable booking fees with the balance payable 60 days before the date of travel.
