Summary: The condo is well appointed in a safe location. There is nothing else but medical facilities on the (long) block, but there are good cafes and restaurants and grocery stores within a 10-15 minute walk. There is olive oil and an impressive spice collection in the kitchen, as well as a variety of cooking implements.Three things to be aware of:When we were there, the air had a strong chemical smell. It seems that the whole building was renovated in early 2025 and everything is off-gassing. There was also another chemical smell in the condo. This should get better with time, but don't stay here now if you're chemically sensitive.The owner uses a "Boarding Pass" app that will require a photo of your I.D. and face, and also a small security deposit or insurance payment on top of what you pay through VRBO, before you receive check-in information.The bed is on the firm side. Also, you may need to remove the light bulbs from the wall sconces and charge them before you can turn on the bed-side lights, and we found them too dim for reading a book in bed -- for those of us who still read books instead of phones before bed.
