Positive: We were high season (Christmas) and rarely, as a family of 6, had trouble getting a breakfast table (even during the 'red' traffic light period). Likewise, we were never down in the sun area before 10:00am and never had a problem getting 6x sunlounges and 3 umbrellas together. We were on half-board. Breakfasts were to die for. Egg station, bacon, sausages, Asian, pastries, fruit, cereal and plenty of tea and coffee. Rooms were kept very clean and beach towels were supplied with room service. Pools were not crowded, kept clean. There is an eco-health angle to the hotel. Not really our thing but it wasn't 'Greta Thunberg - in your face' Plenty of excellent restaurants ´within 5 mins walk for those not on full board. This part of Khao Lak has a much more village feel than Khao Lak proper up the road. Much nicer IMO. Definite recommend

Negative: Not much. The hotel is set on a hill which means its a little hike back from the beach. On the plus side, this makes it Tsunami safe.
