Positive: Lovely cabin style property in a beautiful area, with a stunning view to the rear over looking some fabulous scenery. Good parking, good location and walking distance to the town where you can eat and drink in some excellent bars and restaurants. Excellent communication from the owner who is pleasant and easy to contact via the message service on the booking.com app. Very helpful, Overall a pleasant stay
Negative: The property was cold inside on arrival but after a few hours with the heaters on it warmed up nicely. The property only has electric heaters and they do need to be on pretty much continuously to keep the property warm as the property seemed to loose the heat quickly especially at night. This obviously this increases the energy bill you have up pay at the end of your stay. There was a log burner but the wood basket was empty and no wood was suppled. I understand we visited in winter but it’s worth keeping in mind. The cleanliness of the property was satisfactory. A few small issues with 2 of the bedrooms not having working lights I can only presume the light bulbs had stopped working. It’s also worth mentioning no toilet roll or cleaning products are provided so you will need to bring your own.
