Positive: A lovely stay just a literal stone's throw from the Colosseum. Extremely patient and accommodating management (thanks, Carolina!) when dealing with flight delays/late arrival. The area is amazing with everything from cafes and restaurants, to a 24-hour convenience store all within easy reach. Loved my stay in Rome and will definitely be back. Also, I've stayed in many hotels over the years, including executive suites and the like, and the bed at Imperial Loft is *the* most comfortable I have ever slept in. Wish I hadn't forgotten to check what make the mattress was!

Negative: If I had to nitpick: the bathroom layout is a little cramped so when doing your business you might need to rest your feet inside the shower. Not the end of the world by any means. Great shower, though!

Summary: A comfy stay in the shadow of the Colosseum.
