Location
The lovingly restored Gutshof (farmhouse) Blücherhof, in neo-baroque style, is situated in the heart of Mecklenburg's Lake District. It is bounded by the magnificent, sloping landscape of the Nossentiner/Schwinzer Heide nature reserve and the Mecklenburg Schweiz. The holiday home is located in the old Gutshof tavern. The Gutshof has a famous and beautiful garden full of trees, where you can learn about a number of trees as the garden was laid out by the famous botanist, Prof. Alexander König. In the house there is a sauna, a pool table and a table tennis table. Bicycles and row boats can be rented. The Dubenhus Bar was recently opened in the courtyard, so spoil yourself with coffee and cake or a delicious breakfast! There is also a 'nature' playground for the kids.

In the mountainous Mecklenburger Schweiz you'll find a real challenge. The cyclist who is keen on having a relaxed tour while enjoying beautiful scenery, is at the right place alongside the wonderful lakes. The same goes for the foot paths. You can also swim in one of the many lakes in the area. There is a large playground in the courtyard where children can play to their heart's content. Various water sports are possible on either the Mürotz or the Fleesensee. Do plan to visit the castles and fortresses in the area. Ideas for daytrips: It only takes about 2 hours to get to Berlin or Hamburg and you can get to Rostock, Güstrow and Schwerin in about an hour.
