"Hálsakot" heißt übersetzt "Halsmulde", wo man sich ankuscheln und Geborgenheit und Wärme finden kann. Das wünsche ich mir für jeden, der mein Haus besucht.
Hálsakot befindet sich auf einem rund 2.200 Quadratmeter großen Grundstück in Flúðir bei Selfoss im Süden Islands. Die Entfernung von Reykjavík beträgt etwa 100 Kilometer. Es befindet sich in sehr ruhiger Lage auf einem Naturgrundstück.
Hálsakot wurde 2019 neu renoviert und umgestaltet. Das Haus hat ca. 50 Quadratmeter Wohnfläche mit einem großen Wohn-/Essbereich, 3 Schlafzimmern, einem Schlafbereich auf der Galerie und einem Duschbad. Es bietet Platz für 6 Personen, zwei davon auf der Empore. Insgesamt gibt es 3 Betten: 1x 1,40 m breit, 1x 1,20 m und 1x 0,90 m. Auf der Schlafempore befinden sich 2 hochwertige Bettmatratzen, jeweils 0,90 m breit.
Die Küche ist mit einem 4-Platten-Herd, einem Kühlschrank, einer Mikrowelle und einem Geschirrspüler ausgestattet.
Der Wohn-/Essbereich ist durch die große raumhohe Glasfassade sehr hell und bietet einen hervorragenden Blick auf den Garten und die einzigartige Landschaft. Eine große Holzterrasse mit Gasgrill und Gartenmöbeln grenzt an die Süd- und Westseite des Hauses.
Von der Terrasse aus können Sie die schöne Aussicht über die Landschaft genießen. Im Garten gibt es einen Sandkasten und das gesamte, teilweise wild bewachsene Grundstück mit einem kleinen Bach bietet einen spannenden Abenteuerspielplatz mit vielen Verstecken für Elfen und Trolle.
Von der Terrasse aus kann man die schöne Aussicht über die Landschaft genießen.
Auf Flúðir gibt es einen kleinen Lebensmittelladen. In den Gewächshäusern kann man frisches Gemüse kaufen. Auf Flúðir gibt es Restaurants, darunter ein preiswertes und schmackhaftes Fish & Chips-Restaurant vor dem Freibad "gamla laugin" / Geheime Lagune. und: Flúða-Sveppir / Farmers Bistro Kaffi-Sel "Grund" (neben der Tankstelle) Eine Tankstelle befindet sich neben dem Lebensmittelladen. Aktivitäten auf Flúðir: - Schwimmbad Flúðir - Freibad mit warmem Wasser und noch wärmeren heißen Töpfen. Sowie Gamla Laugin / Geheime Lagune. - Reiten - 18-Loch-Golfplatz - Angeln - Weite Landschaft mit Bergen, Vulkanen, Felsen und Tälern, wo man mit etwas Glück isländischen Elfen begegnen und sich von ihnen inspirieren lassen kann.
