Summary: There is no staff before 11 and after 19. So I could not give a review on that point. But the tablets available for check in and check out were practical, worked perfectly, and the interface user friendly. Rooms are very well equipped, nice, beautifully lit and extremely well cleaned. But... I had a room on the groundfloor, immediately next to the entrance lobby. And it was EXTREMELY NOISY ! The door between the entrance and the rooms hall does not close automatically, and the room door is not soundproof at all. I could hear every person, every group coming in and going out, laughing, yelling, rolling the luggage, slamming their room door, making every possible kind of noise, until very late in the night and from very early in the morning. I had ear taps, but even then, I spent a very bad night because of the noise. Other very annoying detail: there is a light besides the bed, on the floor, that switches on automatically when you get up in the night, so that you can see the way to the toilet, for example. It is cleverly thought, but the sensors may be too sensitive, and the light switches on and wakes you up every now and then, when you move in the bed, when you put your foot out of the sheets, when the sheets goes slightly out of the bed frame. It makes something like 8-10 times during the night. Despite those details, I definitely would recommand Fox Hotel Scheveningen, but with the floorlight switched of, and very far away from the entrance lobby. :-)
