Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: A comfortable apartment in a converted old mill, the location was perfect for exploring Stroud and Nailsworth. The owners seemed to have thought of everything, they had provided a lot of useful info about the area. It was nicely furnished and we appreciated having Netflix (a few books would have been nice as well?). A comfortable bed but the duvet was a bit heavy for summer. We enjoyed walks along the river and canal (just be aware of cyclists on the tow path as we had a very close shave!). There was a very handy Waitrose just a short walk away.

Negative: Lighting was very good in the bathroom but could not use miror for putting on make-up as it must have been put up by someone over 6' tall, we could only see the top of our heads! No full length mirror in the bedroom. Kitchen well stocked but needed more than two bowls. There is no direct access to the outside seating area and two steep steps down to the door.

Summary: Very enjoyable short break in a lovely location
