Camp Pops-and-Beers rests on 200' of Lake Michigamme shoreline. This home has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and boasts a large open living/kitchen/dining area floor plan with a fieldstone gas fireplace & floor to ceiling windows that overlook the expansive deck & lakefront.
Our 2015 renovation to the lower level adds a large family room area with ping pong table, movie watching and gaming area, as well as the 2nd bathroom and the 4th bedroom.
An easy to walk gravel trail will lead you through the trees down to the lakefront, where there's a large fire pit area steps away from the dock and beach/swim area. No noise or view of the highway here. The lake reaches 70 feet at it's deepest point. With 27 islands and 95 miles of shoreline this 4000+ acre lake is great for every summer or winter sport. A few of our favorites include: kayaking, wake boarding, water skiing, tubing, sailing, fishing, swimming, snow shoeing, snow mobiling, down hill skiing, ice fishing and sledding/tubing.

Summary: Very pleasant quiet stay for 3 adults. We were able to dock our 17 foot boat easily. As someone else noted, plan your approach with a boat before going down the driveway, easier to back it in and not much traffic on the road so it was fairly easy to do. The house is beautiful, private and well maintained. Had everything we needed. My daughter and I really enjoyed lounging on the deck while we read. It is a slow slope down to the lake area where the firepit is and such a nice view from there. We enjoyed watching the sunsets and looking for shooting stars. Just a heads up, it takes some agility to get to the actual lake from the yard as there are not steps, just some fairly flat rocks to make your way. We had brought a small hand truck to bring the boat battery up the hill for charging and moving a cooler. Just a suggestion for packing. Hope this information makes someone else's vacation better! We truly enjoyed our week. Thank you for sharing your home with us!!
