Positive: We truly enjoyed our stay at De Dag des Heeren—it was such a delightful surprise, especially given our last-minute trip and reservation. The room was comfortable, and spacious with a beautiful view over the garden . The interior is full of character, with an intriguing collection of antiques that give the place a warm and charming atmosphere. The garden was absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and relaxing space to unwind. We felt genuinely welcomed and cared for throughout our stay. For nature lovers, there are some lovely hiking trails in De Oude Kalevallei that can be accessed directly from the village as well as relative vicinity to Ghent.
