NEIGHBORHOOD:
House is located in an area called the "1st ward". The 1st ward is one of the city's historic wards. It was originally the center of the business district for the city, and was strategically located at the intersection of Buffalo Bayou and White Oak Bayou.

SAFETY:
0 break-ins.
House is very secure (locks on all the doors; iron driveway gate and 15' tall fences; 12' tall iron pedestrian gate).
Directly across the street is a city vehicle maintenance facility where they repair ambulances, firetrucks, and police cars. Due to the police cars, the neighborhood is very safe. No break-ins or incidents to the house. The facility is also very quiet (not once have I heard a siren or work being done; nor can I see it from my house).
Very safe neighborhood. People walk their dogs and jog around the neighborhood often and at night.

NOISE:
Home and neighbors are very quiet. The house was custom built by the CEO of a large real estate company here in Houston that specializes in mansions. He built the house with reinforced walls because his brother, the architect of the company, was also in a band and would practice out of the house next door. I never hear any noise (sirens, neighbors, music, cars, dogs, etc) from within the house. I also rarely hear anything when by the pool or driveway etc. Very quiet neighborhood with minimal traffic.

TRAFFIC:
Very little. The street dead ends. Very wide streets. Very safe to play on the street and not have to worry about cars.
