The village of Aberdaron is around two streams, facing the sea. Up the hills are the buildings that give Aberdaron character; it has cafés, shops, and hotels, and the church of St Hywyn. On each side of the river is the beach and a promenade where you can watch the boats in the bay. There is a National Trust visitor centre and car park. Pwllheli and Abersoch are within easy reach.
