This large two-story home in West Seattle Genesee Hill has five bedrooms and three full bathrooms. It has a nice open-concept kitchen on a bright and quiet neighborhood street. The family room has a flat-screen entertainment area, and there is a large primary bedroom/bathroom suite upstairs. We are in a family-friendly neighborhood, so we want to be respectful of our neighbors (friends of ours). Please no unregistered guests or unreasonably loud parties.
This house is conveniently located in West Seattle in the highly desirable, peaceful Genesee Hill neighborhood. It is near many restaurants, including the famous Alaska Junction restaurants/bars, just a few blocks away. The home is in a scenic, quiet, and friendly neighborhood.
This is our primary residence - our home is a two-story 2,400+ sq ft house on a sizeable 5,300 sq foot lot with a front and backyard. The entire home was completely renovated and upgraded in January 2017. It has a nice, open-concept kitchen with quartz countertops, new stainless steel appliances (including an extremely quiet Bosch dishwasher and 36-inch range).
Beds include King, Queen, Queen, Twin (and space for twin fold-out mattress we have), and queen-size Murphy bed (regular mattress, not thin mattress) in the 4th bedroom upstairs. The primary bedroom upstairs (with king bed) has an en-suite bathroom with a large Jacuzzi bathtub and double shower. The living room glass wall opens up to a new back patio with a barbecue. There is a small view of Puget Sound and the ferries from the master bedroom upstairs.
There is a 60-inch flat panel Smart TV on main floor and 50 inch Smart TV upstairs. The house has a laundry machine and games/toys for various aged children. Enjoy amazing morning sunshine in the downstairs front living room with 3 large windows as well as sunsets from our back family room and all upstairs rooms.
The large back patio has a table and seating for six, where you can watch the sunset and BBQ. The fully fenced backyard is great for relaxing, throwing a football, or watching kids play. Enjoy the nice, quiet street with little traffic, friendly neighbors, and fantastic views over the water within a couple of minutes' walk in multiple directions. Parking at our house is easy; you can always find parking on the street directly in front of our house.
We live in a quiet, higher-end residential neighborhood. We are close friends with our neighbors, who will contact us if anything seems "off." Sorry—no overly loud parties!
Also included is a property manual and brochures with suggestions of what to do during your visit including maps and restaurant recommendations. If you are bringing your young children, we have a fold-out mattress for bedroom 2. We have kid toys, games and books.
