Welcome to our beautiful house in a small hamlet in the hills above Bagni di Lucca. La Veduta means The View in Italian and this is appropriate. The view of the hills and valley from the garden is stunning. In the summer butterflies love the lavender bushes in the garden as do the bees. Honey is grown locally. A few olive trees dot the terrace as well. The sound of strimming echoes through the valley too.
The area is very good for those who enjoy hiking or a gentle walk.

Because of the location, access is by a slightly elevated gravel path and so the house is not suitable for wheelchair users and having a car is really essential for full enjoyment.
Ten minutes drive away in Bagni di Lucca is a wonderful large open air swimming pool, fed by local spring water. The pool is open from June to September. There is a separate pool for small children and one for diving, with sun loungers etc and there is an on site cafe where you can order a freshly made sandwich or roll and a beer or coke.
In the town there are banks, bars, supermarkets and restaurants and a twice weekly market.
