3 Bedroom House in Rainbow Valley, Divide

The Sentinel House is a two-level, modern rustic home with three bedrooms, two baths, and 1700 square feet of living space. The main level is open concept with vaulted ceilings, and large windows with stunning views of Sentinel Point and the surrounding mountains. You must be able to climb a set of stairs to get to the main living area, which contains the master bedroom (queen bed) and bath, kitchen, dining, and living area with a propane fireplace. Enjoy your morning coffee, barbecue on the propane grill, or just gaze on the horizon and experience nature on the main level deck. Chances are you will also get a glimpse of some of the local wildlife. The lower level has two bedrooms (one queen and one with twin beds), a full bathroom, full-size washer and dryer, a living area with TV, and a patio door that leads to an outdoor sitting area. The house is five miles due west of Pike's Peak, a 45 minute drive from Colorado Springs, and two hours from Denver. The nearest town with grocery stores, a Walmart, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. is Woodland Park, 16 miles away. Cripple Creek, 11 miles distant, is an old mining town that boasts several small casinos and restaurants. Hiking, fishing, biking, mountain climbing and sight-seeing are all around you! For ski enthusiasts there are several ski resorts within two hours driving time, including Breckenridge, Keystone, and Copper Mountain. These towns are also great to visit during summer months as they often host music concerts, art festivals, and contain all kinds of shops and restaurants. There are no pets allowed and no smoking of any kind. Inside or on the property. Outdoor fires are prohibited per neighborhood covenants. The steep driveway has parking at the bottom of the drive, mid way up and room for 1 car to park at the top. There is NOT a turn around at the top! During snow season all wheel drive is required to reach the top of the driveway. We ask our guests to bring slippers or socks to wear as we do have a no shoes in the house policy and the lower level floor tends to be cooler. We have a video door bell. We have had no past issues but as we live out of state we are being as proactive as possible to secure our home and property.
