Summary: It is once in a while you come across some really quaint little hotels that give you a "special" feel over and beyond the large sterile non descript hotel chains. B in Antwerp was an experience that we would always remember,we stayed in 2 different rooms no 1 and no 2 ...both were an amazing experience beautifully designed with very high ceilings and lots of character. Room no 2 has an open toilet and open bathtub inside a part of the room itself which can be an issue for some people, i would suggest the owner to put a curtain or partition at least on the toilet area as that was the only uncomfortable bit , apart from that it was an amazing experience. As for room no 1, it was absolutely huge and stunning with a private back yard and very comfortable. The area this hotel is located in is the best part lf Antwerp yet only 10 mins from the center by an easy team that stops right in front.....if u like fine dining and beautiful architecture and want to experience the "richness" of antwerp then stay at this hotel...u will feel special there.

Summary: B in Antwerp is a beautiful hotel with spacious rooms, and the centre is very close by and easy to reach. The reason I didn’t gave it 5 stars is because the WiFi accidentally didn’t work. This wasn’t the biggest problem, also because Sharon was really friendly when we contacted her about it. A bigger downside was that because of the building being old, you could hear other people walking and talking on the stairs, going into their room etc. at night. Therefore, I would recommend for the hotel to put up a sign to remember the guests to be aware of their volume after 22.00, and as a guest to bring earplugs.

Summary: The hotel is in a great location, walking distance from several spots in Antwerp and the rooms are beautifully furnished. It was my anniversary and they left us a complementary bottle of sparkling rose which was a really nice touch. Thank you again! I recommend this to anyone who is looking to stay in Antwerp.

Summary: I found this B&B online, by chance – and what a stroke of luck! It is comprised of five large guest rooms in a beautiful old townhouse in a charming residential area to the south of the city centre. (Right on a tramline, it's a 15-20 minute ride to Central Station.) I'd originally booked for one night, but when I saw my room (Nº2) I immediately extended my stay to three nights. Room Nº2 is on the second floor, with three double French doors overlooking the tree-lined Amerikalei street. With ceilings approximately 4-metres high, light floods into the room during the day – at night, heavy black velvet drapes make it cosy and perfect for sleeping. The original, ornate ceiling mouldings have been beautifully restored; an enormous, freestanding bathtub sits in the middle of the room – taking a bath with the windows open is magic. The king (I think?) sized bed is incredibly comfortable, the sheets high-quality, bedside lamps and wall sconces as well as a shaded overhead light (all independently operable) make for a very pleasant atmosphere. There is limited closet space and no refrigerator in the room, but these are very minor inconveniences given the overall ambiance of the room.
The proprietor, Sharon, is not on-site at all times but drops in regularly – and responds rapidly to emails. She knows the area well, has great suggestions for local restaurants, cafés and bars – of which there are many on several picturesque plazas 10 mins walk away.
Super highly recommended!
