Positive: The apartment was very comfortable and extremely well equipped for a short or or even longer stay. We were a little surprised at the location when we first arrived. This is certainly not the Medina. More like the suburbs where those who pedal the tourist dream by day return to spend time with their families. But once you relax into the particular vibe of this 'quartier populaire' you begin to understand that this is the authentic experience of modern day Morocco, not the illusion they sell you in the winding lanes of the souk.

Negative: It's pretty far from the centre of Marrakech. The key is to take the number 66 bus from the corner of the street which will take you all the way to Jemma el Fna for 4 dirhams. And since it's out towards the beginning of the bus line you will usually get a seat.
