Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The property itself was lovely, spacious and quiet. The location was perfect. Within 10 mins you can travel to several beaches and all amenities. The hospital urgent care centre was within 5 minutes.

Negative: The bed that I slept in had blood stains and dirt on the mattress. Each room was filled with several double beds. The bathroom sink has a waterfall tap which is temperamental. The water can pour onto the floor if not set right. The sofa stunk of urine. When I booked my stay I was unaware that this property was up for sale. I was only aware when I checked in. During my stay, I had several estate agents knock the door. Prospective buyers visiting to view the house, without my knowledge or consent. I had the bank try to access the house to undergo evaluation- again with no communication from anyone! I had debt collectors banging the door and windows. I had contacted the people who was managing the guests and was informed that I would be informed of any changes or viewings - this did not happen! I had a problem with the boiler which there is a strong gas smell in the kitchen and cupboard . I had to open the back door and windows each morning to let fresh air in. I reported this, which a engineer was sent straight out, but couldn’t find a leak apparently. However, issue unresolved! The Cleaner even smelt it. If the communication was good, the beds were cleaned adequately and boiler issue resolved- my stay would of been 10/10.
