The holiday home is located on a farm where the fields are mowed every summer. It has a well-equipped kitchen and a wood-burning stove in the living room. One such trip is to Sledalen, a side valley to Skjåstaddalen. The starting point for the tour is at the farm Skjåstad, on the way to Bjørke. The forest road is good and the climb is not too steep, from approx. 50-350 m, and you are at Bjørkesetra. You can walk with a pram or cycle; the section has a toll road, driving by car is at your own risk.
