This 5* apartment is centrally located in the original Caledonian Distillery building situated at the rear of Haymarket station and recognised by its distinctive tall chimney. The apartment is very spacious and has modern and comfortable furnishings. It is a one bedroom flat with two single beds and a large sofa bed in the main room so will comfortably sleep four people. It is accessed via a secure entry system. The flat is suitable for short breaks as well as longer stays. It is very well situated and near to the new tram line for easy access to Edinburgh airport, Haymarket train station, Edinburgh Park, Murrayfield Stadium, the city centre and the Edinburgh International Conference Centre which is a 5 minute walk.

There is a local supermarket, restaurants and shops all within 5 mins walk and uniquely for Edinburgh a free private car parking space available for use directly outside the flat.

Summary: Really cool apartment and exactly as described, but the surprise was how convenient it was. We had a rental car, and parking was right nearby. Bus to the old town is a short walk, as is the train, and Google maps told us exactly how to get anywhere. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, the host very responsive. The three flights of stairs were a bit of a trial, but I'd rent it again if we come back!
