Heading to the coast you can enjoy a day at the seaside in the popular resort of Swanage (5 miles) famous for its pier and promenade and sandy beach. From Swanage a steam train can take you to Corfe Castle (5.5 miles) or you could catch the ferry to Poole or Brownsea Island. On entering this cheerful and attractive cottage you will find a delightful double-aspect lounge which is an ideal space to relax in at the end of a great day.
